Made of oilcloth and closed with a stippled tin button, our writing kits are reproduced from the original carried by Edgar Yergason of the 22nd Ct. patterned from measurements of the original, now in the collection of the U.S. Army Museum, and pictured in the book "Tenting Tonight" from the Time-Life book series. Each writing kit includes a period pencil, five sheets of writing paper, and a sheet of 6 of our museum quality reproduction 3 cent postage stamps.
