Each package contains three 5" adamantine candles, a size that fits perfectly in most personal lanterns.  By the mid 19th c. beeswax candles had fallen out of favor  to the cheaper, longer burning Adamantine candle.  Ours come packaged like they just came off the shelf of a mid 19th C. dry goods store, or out of a sutlers tent.
